For as long as she can remember, Jessica wanted to work with primates. She started volunteering at Helping Hands in 2007, after learning about the organization while attending school in Boston. She left her volunteer position in order to attend Arizona State University, but never forgot about Helping Hands. In 2010, Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Physiology and Behavior and returned to Boston, where she was eager to get back to The Monkey College. In addition to volunteering, Jessica worked as a zoo intern and as a research animal specialist at a primate facility until being offered (and delightedly accepting) her position. In her spare time Jessica loves spending time at the beach and relaxing with her two cats.
Our service monkeys are provided at no cost to our recipients.
